I feel like it has been forever since I last sat down to write but it feels really good to get back into it! We made our annual pilgrimage to Salem, MA to see my sister this past weekend and we got hit with some big (and super super awesome!) news last week which I’ll be sharing later on the blog. I also got a new desk job (that I’m loving!) so it’s been a challenge to juggle the blog and work life that so many people do well. Long story short, my life went from 0 to 100 in just a few days and we’re still trying to catch our breath.
ANYWAY…the sun has gotten harder and harder to find recently, so outfit photos have gotten to be a challenge. Either it’s a thousand degrees or the sun is out for ten minutes, we can’t seem to have both in Georgia. Day light savings time is just around the corner, thank goodness.
I picked these pants out on my birthday – just look how fun they are! I got them at a shop called the Junkman’s Daughter in Atlanta, and they’re a throwback to a pair of palazzo pants I got for our honeymoon in Mexico (but were torn on a bike ride). They are basically pajama pants that are acceptable to wear out to dinner so who could ask for more? I love how easy they are to pair with sneakers for a more casual look that tones down the pants.
Thanks for stopping by!
