I’ve been having a lot of fun playing around with shadows and direct light with my outfit photos recently. I know the rule of thumb is to use the golden hour if possible (about 30 minutes before sunset) but I really love the feel of a Céline spread and the contrast with the white background.
I found this dress a little while ago at Lizard Thicket, and it’s the absolute best thing to have in my closet for these warmer Fall days. The fabric is a lightweight linen-feel fabric that pairs well with heels, slides, or sneakers.
After having to involuntarily downsize my shoes by three pairs (thanks Chompy) it was a tough decision deciding what to add that will go the distance through the colder months. These black slides that are a dupe for these much more expensive ones have been worn much more than I expected. It’s always exciting when you find a new piece that fits just so well into your wardrobe, it kind of makes all the work you put into your ideal wardrobe worth it!
Thanks for stopping by!
