Fall is, of course, my favorite season and what better way to celebrate that then with some more workwear capsules? This capsule is geared toward a business casual environment, but can easily be adjusted for more formal workplaces.
The great thing about the colder months is that there is so much opportunity for layering pieces. This will help your wardrobe keep you going through the colder months with little need to shop so you can spend more time enjoying all the holiday festivities!

Layering was front and center in my mind when picking out these tops. Scoop-neck tops and sweaters are ideal for layering over button-downs, while turtle necks and mocknecks can easily layer under button downs for a little extra warmth and style.
Fall layers can be taken in so many directions, but I chose to keep it simple with a wool coat for colder days, a long cardigan for the chilly office, and a plaid blazer as a nod to current fall trends. All of these pieces will go effortlessly with any top, making the perfect for switching up outfits.
For the bottoms, I wanted to stick with classic cuts and neutrals to maximize pairing opportunities. I love adding a circle skirt as it breaks up the monotony of straight lines that dominate workwear and make the look a little more light and fun while still being office appropriate.
Sweater dresses may have been one of my biggest influences when falling in love with fall. So warm, cozy, and appropriate for the office or a night at dinner, you can’t really go wrong with them! I chose fit and flare styles for the other two dresses because they’re universally flattering and with a wide belt can be layered with ease.
Comfort is always key when it comes to footwear, especially when you your options are more limited. Low block heels keep you elevated while maintaining mobility around the office (and through the parking lot). An ankle boot is always a classic fall and winter staple as it can easily be styled with everything from pants to dresses to skirts.
