I’ve been going back and forth on smoothie bowl recipes for a while, and I wanted to post this one because it’s always my go-to for a quick lunch and I think *may have* perfected the recipe for the perfect smoothie bowl. Often I have smoothies and they don’t fill me up, but this bowl is filled with enough protein and fiber to keep you full for hours so you get to indulge a bit while also getting full. Win-win! I love having this when I’m in the mood for something sweet but don’t want to give in completely.


8-10 frozen strawberries

1/2 cup frozen mangos

1/2 Scoop of vanilla protein powder (I love this one)

1 frozen banana

1/2 cup of water

1 tbsp chia seeds (topping)

1 tbsp hemp seeds (topping)

1 tbsp almond butter (topping)

  1. Mix the strawberries, mangos, banana, water, and protein powder in a blender.
  2. Check the smoothie. If it’s too thick, add water. Not thick enough, add more fruit of your choice.
  3. Pour smoothie in a bowl. Top with chia seeds, hemp seeds, and almond butter.
  4. Eat and enjoy!
