One of my new favorite parts of the summer season is being able to bust out this beautiful floral wrap skirt! This was one of my first DIYs made last year via a Youtube tutorial and it didn’t turn out half bad (but it didn’t come without its share of headaches). I may make another one this summer in a stretchier fabric that is more neutral and can transition to fall. All in all, this is a really great beginner DIY for those still learning their way around a sewing machine.
I was really excited to see how well this thrifted silk marigold tank looks with the skirt…it made me obsess even more over this tank! In my capsule, a tank or a cami in a nice fabric like satin or silk really elevates these simple pieces to make them go the distance in a smaller wardrobe.
Thanks for stopping by!
