The Easiest Circle Top DIY

The sewing bug got me over the weekend, most likely inspired by the DIY blog A Pair & A Spare. Filled with so many easy and fun DIYs to add to your closet and home, I couldn’t help but be inspired! It’s been a while since I’ve made anything, so I decided to start slow with this circle top (and skirt) DIY.

I followed Geneva’s lead with using seersucker fabric for this top as it screams spring and summer. This fabric is actually a gray and white seersucker, versus the typical blue and white.

Usually when I make DIYs off the internet, the DIY looks SUPER simple and then turns out to be much more complicated (at least for me as a beginner seamstress) and I come out feeling frustrated and hopeless. This project didn’t leave me feeling that way at all, and even inspired me to try a couple of other DIYs on Geneva’s blog which I will share later on this week!

Top: DIY | Jeans: Gap | Sandals: Birkenstocks | Earrings: DIY | Bag: Morocco (similar) | Sunglasses: Rayban

What do you think of this top? Would you try it?

Thanks for stopping by!
