I love planning and making lists, and I also love clothes. So when the two come together I get a little obsessed. Planning for the next season is always so much fun especially now that I have a capsule, and I love throwing around ideas to push myself outside my comfort zone and really find new and fun ways to wear my clothes.
One common theme I’ve noticed in this season’s fashion trends is the juxtaposition between unlikely styles. There’s a lot of the dad sneaker (no thanks) with pretty, flowery dresses, or polished tweed blazers with distressed denim shorts. There is something so chic and cool about unexpected pairings, and the women who have the confidence to put them together.
I put together five outfit recipes you can make with items you probably already have in your closet so that you can feel fresh this summer without having to pick up a part-time job. I’ve been living in the t-shirt and shorts combo for a while now, and I’m excited to step out and try a few new combinations this summer.
