FIVE CHIC WAYS TO STYLE A BANDANA SCARF

If you can’t tell from my recent posts and photos, bandana scarves have been myΒ thing for spring. They’re so versatile, on trend, and just add a little more to you look.

I usually try to stay away from “on trend” items because I feel so influenced by the need to be trendy rather than fully thinking through whether they would fit well in my closet. I took a little over a month to really think about whether these items would be worn and loved, and decided to take the leap since I was swooning over them for so long, and I don’t regret it!

It’s so fun getting ready an figuring out new and fun ways to add these scarves to my outfit. If something makes getting dressed more fun, I’m always down! Take a look at my 5 favorite ways to wear the bandana scarf!

ON THE BAG

WITH A PONYTAIL

This is a look I’ve been sporting a lot this summer, just look at this post!Β This works great in a low ponytail, but even better (bringing back slight cheerleading vibes) in a high ponytail. There’s no wrong way to wear it, so go crazy!

CLASSIC AROUND THE NECK

THE WRIST

DOUBLE WRAP AROUND THE NECK

Start this tie by folding the scarf over itself until it is about 3″ wide. Then take the middle of the scarf and put it around the front of your neck, wrap the end pieces around the back of your neck, then tie them in the front. This is one of my favorite scarf looks because the placement is expected, but the way the scarf is tied is just different enough to make it interesting.
