Evan and I took a short vacation to Disney World and I have been SO excited for this trip since we got married! I used to go to Disney yearly with my family when I was little, but that tradition stopped as my siblings and I got older.
When planning this trip, I scoured the internet for helpful outfit packing guides to help me figure out what I was going to wear. Sadly, there aren’t very many out there. To plan for this trip, I put together my own packing list that will hopefully help stylish ladies plan their outfits for Disney or any other theme park.

WHAT I WOULD HAVE CHANGED
- Shoes. Though the slip-ons I brought were really cute, they were majorly uncomfortable. Going again, I would bring some black sneakers or comfy loafers.
- Rain Coat. A rain coat should have been a part of my layers, but I didn’t bring it. The weather looked fine (and Apple even said there was no rain as I could see it coming down in the park), but even though I saved space by not packing it, the rain jacket would have been a great thing to have because I was very cold and uncomfortable when it rained. You can also bring a poncho if you’re looking for something easier to stow. At the end of the day, we can’t put all of our faith into what the weather is supposed to be because that could quickly change.
This packing list isn’t the only way to plan for Disney, but for me it was very helpful to make sure I didn’t over-pack and to know that I would be happy with all my outfits. I would have loved to have a pair of Mickey Mouse ears or a Disney shirt, but those items were things that I didn’t already own and I am super proud of where my capsule is at right now and I didn’t want to just add to it for the sake of vacation. The important thing to keep in mind when packing is that you need to be comfortable above all things so that nothing is getting in the way of your magical Disney adventure!
What are your must-haves for your Disney adventure?
Thanks for stopping by!
