Vegan Chocolate Strawberry Ice Cream

The temperatures might be cold, but that doesn’t mean chocolate and fruit cravings stop! As you may know from my January Favorites post, I’ve been really into frozen strawberries lately. What better way to get my strawberry fix than to have it with some chocolate ice cream?

1 1/2 – 2 Frozen Bananas

3/4 Cup Non Dairy Milk (I like Vanilla Soy Milk)

3 Tbsp Cocoa Powder

5-6 Frozen Strawberries

  1. Pour non dairy milk into a blender or food processor (my food processor works best) with frozen bananas and blend.
  2. Add in cocoa powder and blend.
  3. Add in strawberries and blend. I prefer to have larger chunks of strawberry, but you can blend for longer if you don’t want large chunks.
  4. Enjoy immediately. This recipe can be frozen as well, though you won’t get the same creamy consistency as you do just after you blend it. I like to save any extra in popsicle molds to make for easy eating later.

This is one of my go-to recipes if I have a chocolate craving. Filled with all sorts of goodness and much less added sugar than your traditional ice cream, you can easily add other things to it to make this recipe more of a smoothie bowl rather than a dessert.
